Separate off-campus exhibits of temporary art created by two groups of Fredonia Visual Arts and New Media students will be held this weekend in Dunkirk and Fredonia.

Eight students -- Zoey Rich, Rebecca Chatterton, Mackenzie Sheldon, Eric Ryberg, Cassandra Perry, Chris Steckline, Zach Tietje and Samantha Lanier -- and alum Shauna Beckstein will have an exhibit at BirdHaus, 925 Central Ave., Dunkirk, on Saturday, 8 p.m. to midnight. BirdHaus is a student-run art/music/performance venue operated by Brandon Perdomo, a junior majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies – Exercise Science.

Another group of students -- Julian Perez, Michaela Worosz, Sydney Menigoz, Eric Ryberg, Heather Radford, Megan Lewandowski, Catherine Walsh and Ryan Huff – will have an exhibit on Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m., at Kasia Coffee, 183 E. Main St., Fredonia.

The students are enrolled in the Installation Art class taught by Assistant Professor Peter Tucker. Both exhibits are free and open to the public.
