The screening Monday, Aug. 24 of the 2015 musical comedy “Pitch Perfect 2,” the sequel to “Pitch Perfect” that tells the story of an all-female a cappella singing group at fictional Barden University, will launch Welcome Week activities under the stars at Dods Grove, beginning at dusk. The film will be shown in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room in the event of rain.
A performance by Equalogy of “One Night” will be presented by S.T.E.P.S. on Tuesday, 7 p.m., at Marvel Theatre. “One Night” follows four college students as they deal with complex issues. It is performed by professional actors and utilizes humor, drama and audience interaction.
Trivia Night will be staged on Wednesday, 7 p.m., at the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.
Bingo, complete with prizes, will be played on Thursday, 7 p.m., at the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.
Generous servings of music, food and fun will cap Welcome Week on Friday at 6 p.m. by the Williams Center.
Welcome Week activities are jointly sponsored by Spectrum Entertainment and Student Association and are free and open to all Fredonia students.
