The Student Health Center provides currently registered SUNY Fredonia students with care for acute illness and injury, health education, women’s health services (including birth control), HIV testing, and laboratory services. The mission of the Student Health Center is to promote and support student wellness through education, prevention and treatment in a caring atmosphere that respects the unique qualities of each individual.
Important Updates: Fall 2024
The Student Health Center will be closed for the Thanksgiving Break beginning Thursday, November 27th and will reopen on Monday, December 2nd.
What to know about what is going around
Care of Respiratory Illness - The Student Health Center has been busy with lots of upper respiratory viruses, including flu and COVID. With the latest in guidance from the CDC, there are actions you can take to help protect yourself and others to promote health and wellness.
Hours of Operation:
- During the fall and spring semesters, the Student Health Center is open every weekday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for medical care.
- On certain holidays and in between semesters, the office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- We are closed daily from noon - 1pm for the lunch hour.
Location and Accessibility:
The Student Health Center is located in LoGrasso Hall on the Temple Street side of campus.

Confidentiality:
With the exception of emergency situations in which a student is unable to assume responsibility, all medical information is confidential. The Student Health Center will not share information concerning the health of a student without the student's explicit and informed written authorization. Notification of parents, College faculty, and administrators is considered the student's responsibility.
