21st Annual EOP Awards Ceremony
The 21st Annual EOP Awards Ceremony and Chi Alpha Epsilon honor society pinning was held Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at 4 p.m., in the Williams Center. Award Qualifications were carefully reviewed and Certificates were presented to those students who had over a 2.70 semester average for the spring 2002 and/or fall 2002 semesters. Another seven special awards were also presented.

Award Qualifications:
Silver Certificates - Awarded to students who have achieved a semester grade point average (GPA) between 2.70 and 3.29 and completed a minimum of 12 hours.
Gold Certificates - Awarded to students who have achieved a semester grade point average of 3.30 or better and completed a minimum of 12 hours.
Outstanding EOP Tutor of the Year - Presented to College Tutoring Services tutors who have shown a tremendous amount of support, dedication, commitment, and inspiration in tutoring for EOP. Selected by EOP students, these tutors are being recognized for "Going Above and Beyond" in academic assistance.
Community Service Award - Recognizes those EOP students who have demonstrated a commitment of service to the Educational Development Program, the College, and the community through on and off campus activities.
Arthur O. Eve Scholarship Award - Awarded to students who have demonstrated commitment to self-improvement, leadership, and service to the Educational Development Program, the College, and the community.
Director's Award - Awarded to the student who has achieved the most significant cumulative improvement in academic progress over the course of one year.
The "Gregory Fund" - In memory of Gregory Antonio, 1991 Political Science/Pre-Law EOP Graduate. Establish by Gregory's mother and sisters in 1992 to give extra assistance to an EOP student and/or member of the Lacrosse Club. Greg was a member of Phi Sigma Alpha National Honor Society, a class rep, founder and captain of Fredonia's Lacrosse team, and was a chair of the college judicial board.
Exemplary Service Award - Recognizes the Support and the dedication of those who have been instrumental in helping EOP accomplish its mission. These contributions and commitments make EOP able to go "Above and Beyond."
Distinguished Alumnus Award - Presented to a graduate of SUNY College at Fredonia's Educational Development Program who has accomplished personal and career goals and demonstrated a commitment to leadership and academic excellence.
