Using the Food Pantry/Basic Needs Center:
Any SUNY Fredonia student who is registered for the current semester and who has a SUNY Fredonia ID card can utilize the Food Pantry up to once a week when classes are in session. The Pantry stocks a variety of food staples with which meals can be built, such as grains, canned vegetables and fruit as well as simple already prepared meals. In addition, students can pick up household items such as laundry detergent and personal care items (deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste) at Freddy's Locker, in each Residence Hall or at the Reed Library. Disabilities Support Services
The office of Disability Support Services for Students (DSS), coordinates those services essential to providing students with disabilities equal access and the opportunity to be successful at the State University of New York at Fredonia.
Financial Aid
The office of Financial Aid is committed to assisting students and families with navigating the entire financial aid process.
Food Pantry

Housing
The office of Residence Life works with students to identify, provide, and/or support housing options for our students facing homelessness or housing insecurity.
Mental Health
The Counseling Center promotes student’s mental health, wellness, growth and development.
Personal Hygiene
Personal Hygiene items are available at the Campus Food Pantry through the online ordering portal. In addition, students can pick up household items such as laundry detergent and personal care items (deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste) at Freddy's Locker, in each Residence Hall or at the Reed Library.
Physical Health
The Student Health Center provides currently registered SUNY Fredonia students with care for acute illness and injury, sexual health and wellness, health education, and laboratory services, usually at no cost to the student.
Technology
Our Information Technology Services works with all students to ensure access to all information and technology through programs such as the FRED Laptop Program.
Thrift Store
Located near the loading dock entrance in Eisenhower Hall, the Thrift Room is a free resource for students to find clothing, accessories, and other essentials they might need.
Transportation
As transportation can be a challenge, there are several options that can assist you with transportation around the Dunkirk/Fredonia area as well as to and from the airport, train station and bus terminal.
