Fredonia’s Department of Mathematical Sciences is celebrating its 15th Pi Day on Wednesday, March 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., in McEwen Hall Room 209.
Over a dozen teams will compete for the coveted Pi Cup. All are welcome to attend. The theme of the celebration is "Su'Pi' Heroes and Villains."
Pi Day is Tuesday, March 14 (3-14, like the first three digits of pi) and Fredonia's Department of Mathematical Sciences is celebrating a week early, since Pi Day is during the university’s spring break. It is a ‘math holiday’ that has been gaining steam over the last decade.
