UCB graphicThe famous Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) improvisational comedy touring company will perform at SUNY Fredonia on Friday, Sept. 10. The special, two-hour comedy performance will take place in the Williams Center’s Multipurpose Room at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 for students and $8 for general public, and can be purchased at the SUNY Fredonia ticket office in the Williams Center, or by calling 716-673-3501 or visiting www.fredonia.edu/tickets.

UCB has launched the careers of many well-known comedians such as Horatio Sanz and Bobby Moynihan of “Saturday Night Live,” Jack McBrayer who plays Kenneth on “30 Rock,” and Ellie Kemper who plays Erin Hannon on “The Office.”

The UBC comes to campus thanks to the joint efforts of SUNY Fredonia’s Performing Arts Company (PAC), Improv Collective and Random Acts clubs. The show will include 16 of Fredonia’s students representing a number of departments across campus.

The UCB theatre is the premiere school in the U.S. for up-and-coming, improvisational comedians based in Los Angeles and New York City. The UCB touring company is now in its fifth successful season playing at universities, festivals and rock clubs all over the country.
