Aimee Nezhukumatathil (associate professor, English) won the Glenna Luschei Prairie Schooner Award for her poems published in the Winter 2009 issue of Praire Schooner.

Also, her poem, "When All of My Cousins are Married," and an essay on the craft of poetry appears in the high school AP English text, Literature and Composition  (1st edition), Bedford, Freeman, and Worth Publishers (May 2010).

Her poems, "What I Learned from the Incredible Hulk," and "High School Picture Re-take Day," were anthologized in Seriously Funny: Poems about Love, Death, Religion, Art, Politics, Sex, and Everything Else, edited by David Kirby and published by the University of Georgia Press in April.
