The history of Western New York Steel will be discussed at a book talk on Monday, April 28, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Japanese Garden Room in Reed Library.

SUNY Fredonia alumnus Spencer Morgan will discuss his recently published book, “Western New York Steel.” As a former curator for the Steel Plant Museum of Western New York, he will talk about the history of Western New York steel and reflect on the process of writing and assembling the material from his book.

Morgan graduated from Fredonia in 2008 with a degree in History.
