SUNY Fredonia’s Career Development Office (CDO) will host its annual Graduate School Fair on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. SUNY Fredonia students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members who are interested in graduate school information are encouraged to attend.
Representatives from over 50 graduate schools and organizations from across New York State and beyond will be in attendance, providing hands-on information. A variety of fields will be represented, including business, education, law, the humanities and health sciences. The full list of attendees can be seen at www.fredonia.edu/cdo/
The fair will be the highlight of Graduate School Week, Oct. 15 to 19, during which presentations and events regarding graduate schools will be offered. Topics will range from financial aid to the application process and the secret to getting into competitive programs. Students will also be encouraged to register to take a free practice GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, DAT or PCAT exam from Kaplan, the well-known test preparation company.
These events and presentations are open to all SUNY Fredonia students and alumni. Those interested are urged to RSVP in the CDO’s online “Quest” system at www.fredonia.edu/cdo/ for all events except the Graduate School Fair, which requires no registration and is free and open to the public. It is especially critical to register for the Kaplan practice exams.
