The Marion Art Gallery exhibit, “Tradition Interrupted,” is in its last two weeks, ending on Nov. 22.
It was the last venue for the nationally touring exhibition featuring 12 contemporary artists from 10 countries.
The exhibit includes unique ceramics, tapestries, sculpture installations, Persian mirror mosaics, woven photographs, and a trompe l'oeil painting by renowned artists who bring their interpretations of the traditions of their ancestors to the international contemporary art world.
Gallery hours are: Tuesday through Thursday, noon to 4 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, noon to 6 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., and by appointment. Class tours are available by emailing the gallery director, Barbara Racker or by calling (716) 673-4897. Gallery admission and tours are free.
