New Paltz's Anthony Pericolosi is this week's SUNYAC Baseball Athlete of the Week, while Fredonia's Michael Byrns is this week's SUNYAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Pericolosi was dominant at the plate this past week for the Hawks in a five-game winning streak. He led his team with 14 hits, 10 runs scored, 13 RBI, two stolen bases and a walk with six extra base hits including three doubles, a triple and two home runs to bat .583 on the week with a slugging percentage of 1.042. He was the catalyst in a 3-0 series sweep of Canton this past weekend, going 10-for-14 in the series, including a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, two home runs and six RBI in game one. Pericolosi also got it done in the outfield, gunning down a running at the plate in the first inning of game two against the Roos to help keep a shutout in a 12-0 win. The senior is also currently on a nine-game hitting streak.

In 6.2 innings pitched, Byrns struck out a career-high 12 batters to average 16.20 strikeouts per 9 innings. He allowed just one hit and one run in the Devils 9-3 win. He posted a 1.35 ERA for his second win of the 2025 spring season.
