Students penning thank you notes to benefactors.
The Fredonia College Foundation is hosting a Day of Gratitude, during which students can learn about scholarships and thank those who make scholarships and learning possible.
The event is Friday, Sept. 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. Students can drop in at any time to participate in activities. They can complete a Note of Gratitude to a Fredonia donor or to a faculty/staff member to offer their thanks. Scholarship recipients will complete a personalized thank you card to their benefactors.
Students can also learn at the event how to apply for Fredonia College Foundation Scholarships using FredScholar, and about how Fredonia donors support students and the campus beyond scholarships.
Other activities include painting a gratitude/inspirational rock, visiting with Junie the therapy dog, building a personalized snack mix and enjoying other refreshments. Students can also add to a "This Blue Devil is Grateful For........” sign for the wall of gratitude, and post on social media.
There will also be an opportunity to participate in a Fredonia Swag Raffle.
