Civic Engagement Night, an opportunity to learn about important issues and how to take positive action to address them, will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.

Representatives from a variety of campus and community groups will be available to share information and answer questions on issues ranging from public health and environmental sustainability to voter registration and turnout. Some of the groups involved are Fredonia's American Democracy Project along with the student group, Fredonia Democracy Initiative, the Chautauqua County League of Women Voters, the Climate Education Initiative, Partners in Health, the Climate Reality Project, No Impact Week and Greenwave-Enactus. There will also be voter registration and information on encouraging voter turnout. 

Members of the campus community and the public are invited to attend.
