The first Curious and Creative Conversation Series presentation of the semester will be held Friday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m.

During each 50-minute event, faculty members from diverse fields/disciplines will present a 10-minute “lightning talk” about the details of a scholarly, research or creative project. All presentations are held in Reed Library Garden area and are free and open to the public.

Inaugural presenters are Associate Professor Sam Kenney of the Department of Theatre and Dance; Lecturer Allison Manning of the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences; and School of Music Assistant Professor Amy Spears.

Faculty will share stories about their research/creative journey and offer tips for the next generation of scholars and artists. A question-and-answer session follows each individual presentation.

Learn about the processes involved in and outcomes resulting from scholarship and creative activity in various fields.
