The Fredonia State women's swim team claimed a 95-61 win over Pitt-Bradford in the season-opening meet at the Steele Hall Natatorium on Saturday. Megan Orrange and Cleo McDermott both claimed a pair of individual victories.
Orrange swam a personal best in the 100 freestyle of 58.68. In the 50 free, she turned in a time of 26.47. She was also part of the 200 medley rely team that placed first.
McDermott's wins came in the 100 butterfly (1:14.87) and the 500 free (6:13.50). Lilly Phillips (100 breast/1:30.91) and Hailey Thomson (200 free/2:21.16) also had first-place finishes.
