AUBURNDALE, Fla. -- After dropping Game 1 to St. Lawrence 15-4, senior pitcher Kevin Mahon picked up his third win of the spring, tossing a five-hitter in a 7-3 victory in Game 2. Mahon walked one and struck out eight.

Game 1 
The Devils struck first with a pair of runs in the top of the first. A wild pitch and a single by Luke Kenyon accounted for the runs. 

St. Lawrence tied the game in the bottom of the first after starting the game with a base hit, a hit by pitch, and a walk off of starting pitcher Nate O'Brochta. After a fly out, another single tied the game at 2-all.

Fredonia State tacked on two more in the top of the second. Singles by John Aivaliotis, Kenny Benitez, and Tyler Phillips produced the scores, giving the Devils a 4-2 lead. The offense would not score the remainder of the game.

St. Lawrence used the big inning to put away the game. They scored four in the fourth, then nine in the sixth inning. St. Lawrence was aided by nine walks and three hit batters.

Game 2
Once again, the Devils struck first, plating a pair in the bottom of the first. After Johnny Genau was hit by a pitch, he was balked to second. Tyler Phillips brought him home on a base hit. Phillips would come around on a base hit by Anthony Kinney.

St. Lawrence used a pair of hit batters and a triple to tie the game in the top of the third. 

Fredonia State answered back with a four spot in the bottom half of the inning. They were aided by three errors, and Phillips and Murphy added hits during the rally. 

Aivaliotis manufactured his own run in the bottom of the fourth. He reached on an error, went to second on a wild pitch, then scored on an error by the catcher, giving the Devils a 7-2 lead.

St. Lawrence capped the scoring with a run in the seventh. The Devils were aided by six errors. Phillips led the offense with two hits and two runs.

They wrapped up their Florida Trip with a single game vs. Keuka on Saturday, losing 6-10.
