Dr. Michael Dunham
Dr. Michael Dunham of the Department of Physics was appointed Visiting Scientist at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory in Cambridge, Mass., for the month of July. Dr. Dunham is one of two lead investigators of a large project that was allocated over 600 hours of observing time on the Submillimeter Array, an array of radio telescopes operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and located on Mauna Kea in Hawaii.
During the visiting appointment Dunham collaborated with project co-investigators to analyze data collected by the observing program.
