Dr. Natasha Farny
School of Music Professor Natasha Farny and guest pianist Kuang-Hao Huang will perform music by French composers on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
Featured in the 8 p.m. recital, in Juliet J. Rosch Recital Hall, will be compositions by Mel Bonis, Francis Poulenc and Camille Pepin.
The recital is free and open to the public.
The first CD recorded by Dr. Farny, a cellist in the School of Music, featured music from France and the material during the performance will demonstrate her continued interest in that country's special voice.
Mr. Huang is a highly sought-after collaborative pianist whose performances have taken him throughout North America and Asia. He serves on the faculties of Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and Concordia University Chicago. He has degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Indiana University and Northwestern University.
