Xavier Fortin celebrates!
Xavier Fortin scored 48 seconds into overtime to give the Fredonia State men's hockey team a 4-3 victory at Brockport. Fortin, Ryan Bailey, and David Sudbrink were on the ice during the three-on-three. It was the first career goal for Fortin, a freshman defenseman.

Brockport opened the scoring when Casey Maxwell scored at 13:11 of the first.
It looked like the Golden Eagles would take the lead into the first intermission before defenseman Kieran Furlonger scored with five seconds left to tie the game at 1-1. Baxter Kimball assisted.
The Devils out shot Brockport 21-15 in the period. Barbeau made eight saves for the Blue Devils, and Dylan Wiemer had 12 stops for Brockport.

The Devils upped the lead to 3-1 when Peter Buerfent scored his first goal as a Blue Devil 4:10 into the period.
The Devils were seemingly in control, but the Golden Eagles would strike twice before the period ended, tying the game at 3-all. Michael Meredith – son of Blue Devil head coach Jeff Meredith – scored the second goal, and Cam Barbagallo scored the game-tying goal.
The third period was scoreless with Barbeau making 11 saves and Wiemer 14 setting the stage or Fortin's game-winner.
