Heather Han, a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Applied Music, has been chosen as the April 2019 Student of the Month by the Office of Residence Life. She was nominated for the award by Dr. Jack Croxton, her research supervisor.

Ms. Han is currently conducting a study on how people perceive others who carry out acts of altruism. Han is actually quite altruistic, wrote Dr. Croxton, and she constantly volunteers within the department and asks what she can do to help around the office.

Han is involved in campus organizations that include the Fredonia Guitar Society, Fredonia Radio Systems and the Psychology Club, in which she holds the position of vice president. She is a member of the Association for Psychological Science and the American Music Therapy Association and also serves as a tutor in the Upward Bound Program.
