The campus State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Committee would like to thank those have already contributed to the 2020 SEFA Campaign.
Together, as of Dec. 7, campus employees/retirees have contributed $36,558.00, representing close to 91 percent of the campus goal of $40,000 for this year's fundraising.
In addition to achieving (or surpassing) the dollar goal, the committee hopes to have 100 percent campus participation.
The committee is continuing to accept pledges/donations and will send updates throughout the next several weeks. Those with questions should please be sure to ask the SEFA solicitor for their area.
Organizers note, “Your contributions are so important in helping provide organizations the necessary services for those in our community who are in need.”

The SEFA Campaign, with its online payroll deduction option, makes the process very simple and secure. The site will make it easy to search charities and create an employee’s/retirees payroll deduction pledge.
Please click here for step-by-step instructions. Use Fredonia Agency Code 28180 when selecting your Division.
To make a payroll pledge, click online.
The charity search function works with keywords, so finding your favorite charity will take just a few seconds.
For technical assistance with making an online pledge, please email or call the SEFA Coordinator, Lisa Sunday. She can be reached at 716-366-5424 or via email.
The committee strongly encourages donations through the online pledging process; however, those who are unable to do so can send a check to the United Way, 626 Central Ave. Dunkirk, NY 14048, payable to Chaut. Co. SEFA. If sending a check, please be sure to note in the memo section that it is for the FREDONIA SEFA Campaign so the campus is sure to get credit for the donation. Donors should also attach a note designating which organization they would like their funds to go to, if they have a preference.
