As part of its signature Entrepreneurial Education Program, the Fredonia Technology Incubator will host a workshop, “Legal Advice for Start-ups,” presented by F. Kenneth Graham, partner at Phillips Lytle LLP, on Friday, Dec. 3, from noon to 1 p.m., that will focus on understanding corporate and intellectual property considerations when entering the U.S. market.
“The Entrepreneurial Education Program provides entrepreneurs with useful, hands on information and an opportunity to ask presenters questions,” said Incubator Director Chuck Cornell. “High quality and interactive entrepreneurial workshops such as this are a key part of our services and programming we provide at the incubator.”
This program, to take place both in-person and via Zoom, is free to the public and guests are encouraged to register online. The link can also be located on the incubator website and social media pages.

Mr. Graham focuses his practice in corporate law, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, international and domestic business transactions and corporate governance issues. He also advises and provides counsel to not-for-profit and health care clients on compliance, corporate governance and transactional issues.
Additionally, Graham drafts and negotiates technology and intellectual property contracts, including license agreements, terms of use and privacy issues.
The incubator, an economic development program of SUNY Fredonia, works with external partners to promote economic growth by supporting entrepreneurship and development of new, innovative companies into successful business ventures. The incubator provides administrative and business services, mentoring, networking, professional consulting, education opportunities such as workshops, access to capital and work ready space.
