The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has chosen the Men's Ice Hockey athletes of the week, including Fredonia icer Ethan Kirbis as Rookie of the Week.
The Goaltender of the Week is Brockport's Jake Moore and the Player of the Week is Geneseo's Conlan Keenan.
Kirbis (Clarence/Buffalo Junior Sabres) was clutch for Fredonia during the week, scoring a game-winning goal in both games that the Blue Devils played over the weekend. In the first game against No. 3 Oswego, Kirbis delivered the game-winning goal on his only shot of the game to give Fredonia the 3-2 win over their SUNYAC rival. Kirbis had one assist and scored the game-winning goal against Cortland as Fredonia was able to hold the Red Dragons off in the third period to win 5-4.
