

Men's Basketball standout Brandon Kulakoski has been named to the SUNYAC Men's Basketball All-Conference Third Team for the 2024-25 season.
The Brewerton, NY, native had a dominant season for the Devils, leading the SUNYAC in scoring with 18.4 points per game led the conference in three pointers with 58 made while ranking second in rebounds with 8.2 per game. He finished the season totaling 406 points with 206 rebounds while shooting 46% from the field and 36% from three-point land.
Kulakowski had several stellar outings during the season. He posted nine double-doubles and scored 20 points or more eight times with his season high 35 points at Potsdam. Kulakowski started all 25 games for Fredonia State and averaged 32 minutes a game. Kulakowski was also named SUNYAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week in late November for a 29 point and 11 rebound effort in an 89-82 win over Hartwick.
"Brandon earning Third Team recognition is a testament to his hard work, leadership, and relentless competitiveness," said head coach Sean Smiley "He's the kind of player who sets the tone for our team every day, both on and off the court. His drive to compete at the highest level pushes everyone around him to be better, and I'm incredibly proud of the way he represents this program."
Kulakowski also proved he could compete at the highest level with a standout performance against NCAA Division 1 State University of Buffalo. In that game, he poured in 23 points, shooting 9-16 from the field and 5 of 10 from three, while also grabbing 7 rebounds and tallying three assists.

24 points, 11 rebounds against Buffalo State (Jan. 17).
Kulakowski is the first to receive All-Conference honors for Fredonia State Men's Basketball in seven seasons since Ian Helps during the 2017-18 season.
