Madigan Howard displays her award with Jacob Steinhoff, a residence director.
Madigan Howard from Bemus Point, a third semester Resident Assistant in University Commons/Gregory Hall, has been named Resident Assistant of the Month for November/December by the Office of Residence Life.
Ms. Howard is working towards a Master of Science in Education degree (Mathematics K-12). She is part of the Math Club and is on the Graduate Student Advisory Board.
When asked about her favorite thing(s) about Fredonia, Howard said, “The amount of opportunities there are available for anyone. Fredonia includes a majority of functions at no cost to students who live on campus or off. The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Fredonia has given me endless amounts of opportunities, and I am grateful for the time I have been here with their guidance.”
Howard's future goals are to pursue a doctoral degree and she hopes to find a career that feels like home.
Howard was nominated by Jacob Steinhoff, who is Residence Director of University Commons/Gregory Hall. Mr. Steinhoff’s praise of her work included, “Madigan always does any assigned tasks ahead of time and with quality. While she excels at many things, she still can take the time to help someone who is struggling with what she excels at, whether it be a student or a staff member, and get down on their level, which is a rare quality in people who are driven.”
