Two graduate students in Music Education, Grace Doebler and Christina Carissimo, have been accepted to the 2020 TI:ME (Technology in Music Education) Leadership Academy to be held in conjunction with the Texas Music Educators Conference in San Antonio, Texas, on Feb. 12-15, 2020.

The academy offers participants – chosen competitively from diverse music education programs across the nation – several unique experiences in support of music making, learning and teaching that focus on instructional strategies for using technology to reach a critical student population within secondary music education, the nationally estimated 80 percent of students who do not participate in traditional music ensembles.

Through this program, Ms. Doebler and Ms. Carissimo have earned the privilege to travel to and attend the academy free of charge based on the merits of their application to the academy.
