Faculty members from diverse academic fields will address separate topics at OSCAR’s next “Curious & Creative Conversation” series.
The faculty and their respective topics to be presented on Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 1 to 1:50 p.m., in the Reed Library Garden Area include:
• Dr. Bridget Russell (Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences) – "Strengthening the Voice: How Cough Treatments Improve Vocal Health in Parkinson's Disease Patients."
• Abbey Paccia (Department of Visual Arts and New Media/Animation and Illustration) – "Embracing Creative Uncertainty."
• Katelynn Telford (Reed Library) – "Making Libraries Welcoming to Everyone through Music.”
Each faculty member will have 10 minutes to share details about a scholarly, research or creative project they’ve completed. In the final 15 minutes the faculty member will consider the intersections of their work and will answer questions from the audience.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
