If you know an outstanding student deserving of special recognition, the Office of Residence Life wants to hear from you.
The Office of Residence Life is seeking nominations for its Student of the Month Award, an honor that recognizes students for their scholastic and co-curricular achievements.
Each recipient has their name placed on a plaque in a growing display in the Office of Residence Life and is treated to a celebration with Residence Life staff. It’s an impressive display, given that the award began in 2003. A Faculty Student Association gift card is also presented to the awardee.
“We are looking for faculty and staff to nominate outstanding students to be the Student of the Month sponsored by Residence Life,” said Assistant Director of Residence Life Jill Swanson.
Deadlines for submitting a nomination in the fall semester are: Oct. 1 (for the August/September award); Nov. 1 (for October) and Dec. 3 (for November).
