Mary Cooper, a fifth semester Resident Assistant in McGinnies Hall, has been named RA of the Month for November by the Office of Residence Life.
A senior, Mary is finishing a major in Marketing and is from Buffalo, NY. She is also a member of Sigma Kappa and works at the Campus and Community Children’s Center.
When asked about her favorite thing(s) about Fredonia, Mary had this to say: “The people. I will truly miss the people met and connections that I’ve fostered with them. I also have enjoyed the small and intimate classes where I feel like I am connected with professors. In my last semester, I’ve realized how nice it is for my professors to know me by name, and I really appreciate it.”
Mary was nominated by McGinnies Hall Residence Director Ronny Nissen, Chautauqua Hall Residence Director Donna Good, Alumni Hall Residence Director Kass Kovac and Residence Life Care Coordinator Jen Delevan. As far as future goals, Mary noted, “My number one goal is to work in the music industry in some way, but if that doesn’t work out, I would really like to go into real estate! In general, I feel like I have many interests and passions, big and small, and I know I could be successful wherever I go, so in the end, I just want to be happy!”
