Pellechia earns fourth SUNYAC title

For the fourth time in four tries, pole vaulter Cara Pellechia can call herself a SUNYAC Champion. Pellechia cleared 3.50m to take the outdoor title at the SUNYAC Meet on Friday. 

The sophomore from Hilton High School in Rochester now has both the indoor and outdoor titles the past two years.

Pellechia also competed in the 100m dash, taking seventh place in a time of 12.74 and going to the finals. The top time turned in for Friday's preliminary was 12.07 seconds by Cortland's Autumn Pittman.
