One of several pieces of pottery by SUNY Fredonia Distinguished Professor Ted Lee to be featured in the pottery sale.
The annual pottery sale to support students in SUNY Fredonia’s Honduras Study Abroad program will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13.
The sale will be held in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Eight local artists including former and current SUNY Fredonia staffers – Michelle Ballachino, Ann Burns, Cynthia Fitzgerald, Debbie Kotar, Ann Janik, Rhonda Lee, SUNY Fredonia Distinguished Professor Ted Lee and Carol Samuelson – are participating in the sale that will help fund student scholarships in the J-Term Honduras Study Abroad program.
All participating potters got their start on the pottery wheels at Mudslingers, a pottery studio owned and operated by SUNY Fredonia alumnus Ron Nasca.
Proceeds from a raffle table will be used to purchase medicine and supplies for the Honduras program.
