It was a night to remember at Dods Hall as the Fredonia State Blue Devils overcame a slow first half start to comeback and secure a hard fought 82-73 victory over Canton sending their seniors off in style on Senior Night.

Canton came out strong, setting the pace early with an aggressive defensive that stifled Fredonia's offense. Aiden Proudfoot sank a last second baseline shot to cut the Roos's lead to nine points heading into the half with score reading 39-30 in favor of Canton.

The Devils stormed back shooting a scorching 63% from the field in the second half, including a much-needed 6-for-11 from deep. With 9:11 left in the game,  Brandon Kulakowski's driving layup gave Fredonia its first lead at 59-58, and from there, they never looked back. Clutch free throws and key defensive stops sealed the game down the stretch.

Brandon Kulakowski led the charge for the Devils, finishing with 18 points and eight rebounds. Aiden Proudfoot was electric from beyond the arc, nailing four three-pointers and finishing with 16 points. Canton's Nate Cohen was a force on the boards and offensively, tallying 22 points and 11 rebounds. Kevin Goode Jr. added 20 points, going 12-for-16 from the free-throw line.

Other notable performances for the Devils came from Amir Ross who finished with 12 points and six rebounds and Keenan Roberts Jr recording 13 points and six rebounds.

These guys have given everything to this program," Head Coach Sean Smiley noted. "To see them battle back and lead this team to victory on Senior Night is really special. It's a testament to their hard work and leadership."

Fredonia improved to 6-15 overall and 4-10 in SUNYAC play, while Canton fell to 3-18 (3-11 SUNYAC). With the regular season winding down, the Blue Devils will look to build on this momentum in their remaining games.
