The Fredonia State men's track team made a Friday trip to Staten Island to compete in the Ocean Breeze Invitational.
The meet featured teams from all over the east coast, including a number of NCAA Division I programs. Quillan Shimp and Evan Thayer both set PRs.
Shimp ran a PR in the 60m hurdles at 8.81 seconds. He finished first among 28 competitors.
Thayer had a PR in the long jump at 6.40m.
Cameron Sample turned in a 50.55 in the 400m run, finishing 25th of 109 runners. Nick Marsowicz was 41st in the same race in 51.17.
Jordan Lockett ran a 22.67 in the 200m finishing 26th of 105 sprinters.
The Devils are headed to Cornell next weekend.
