Antoine St. Onge scored once and added two assists as the Fredonia State hockey team claimed a 4-2 win over Morrisville on Saturday.
The two teams traded goals in the first period. Matt Mueller scored at 10:57 for the Mustangs. Ryan Bailey evened the game a 1-1 when he scored on a power play with 1:22 left on the clock. St. Onge and Luke Morris assisted.
The only goal of the second period came when Alexis Gonzalez-Lambert scored his first career goal for the Blue Devils with an assist from Jack Schlifke.
Morrisville tied the game 11:53 into the third on a power play when Zach Nichols scored.
Just over two minutes later, the Devils got a power play goal from Xavier Fortin to go up 3-2. St. Onge collected the assist.
St. Onge sealed the game with 14 seconds left on an empty netter. He now leads the SUNYAC with nine points and is second with five goals.
Fredonia State goalie Jameson Kaine made 26 saves to improve his record to 2-0-0. Morrisville's made 44 saves and gave up three scores.
The team plays next at SUNY Canton on Nov. 22.
