The chamber ensemble fivebyfive, which includes School of Music collaborative pianist Haeyeun Jeun, has issued its fourth album, “Eclipse.”

The album, released Nov. 8, creates a one-of-a-kind concert experience with exciting and inspired music that celebrates the April 2024 total solar eclipse. The album’s four tracks -- “In the Path of Totality,” composed by Jessica Meyer; “Eclipse,” by Eastman School of Music graduate Marc Mellits; “Under the Shadow,” by Kamala Sankaram; and “Totality,” by Genesee Valley native Glenn McClure -- were commissioned separately by fivebyfive members and recorded at Blue on Blue Recording Studio, Rochester, NY.

The album can be heard here.

All four compositions were made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

More information about the album is available on the website.
