The SUNYAC selects Brian Taylor from Fredonia as the Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week and Nolan Sullivan from Canton as the Defensive Athlete of the Week.
Taylor had a big game in a three-goal effort in a win over Hilbert College. He added the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over St. Vincent. He now is tied for the lead in the SUNYAC with six goals this season.
Sullivan combined to stop 15 of the 17 shots he faced (.882 save %) across three games in goal last week. He stopped both shots he faced in the final 15 minutes in relief in a road loss at SUNY Poly on Wednesday. Sullivan made seven saves on eight shots he faced in the second half of a 4-0 loss at St. Lawrence on Saturday. The rookie closed out his week with six saves on seven shots in his second career start, a 1-1 draw against VTSU Castleton on Sunday.
