“Unlocking Potential: Keys to the Transfer Journey” is the theme of the expanded National Student Transfer Week at SUNY Fredonia.
Celebrating transfer students and the professionals who support them on their journeys is the objective of this observance, now in its fifth year, that Academic Advising and the Transfer Mentoring Program conduct with the Transfer Student Organization and Tau Sigma.
Students should be on the lookout for information regarding the week-long event, scheduled from Oct. 21 to Oct. 26. Events will include a library display, several student tabling gatherings, a focus group, resume building workshop and a social gathering.
What’s new will be an advising guide to help faculty support transfer students and an invitation to Jamestown Community College’s North County Student Center to visit the campus and join in the celebration. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to participate.
