Following the first day of competition at the NCAA Track and Field Regional, Cara Pellechia finished second in the pole vault and Cameron Sample and Raphael Baez finished fifth and seventh, respectively, in the long jump.
The men's 4x400 relay team also made the podium, finishing in eighth place.
Pellechia cleared 3.47m, second only to Erin Eastwood of Ithaca who cleared 3.62m. Pellechia finished out of the money in the 60m with a time of 8.12 seconds.
In the long jump, Sample went 6.92m and Baez 6.70m. Brandon Koneizki of Penn State Behrend won the event with a distance of 7.16m. Evan Thayer finished off the podium with a leap of 6.34m.
The 4x400 relay team finished eighth in 3:21.08. Nick Marsowicz, Lucas Lawrie, Camiren Collins, and Sample each ran a leg for the Devils.
