Fredonia State junior defender Lauren Cullinan is back on the SUNYAC all-conference team for the third straight year. She is joined in 2019 by freshman defender Izzy Audette.
Second Team as a freshman and First Team as a sophomore, Cullinan is back on the First Team in 2019. She had two goals and two assists while leading the Blue Devils in minutes played, was co-captain for the second straight year, and was named CoSIDA Academic All-District, attesting to her ability both on the field and in the classroom.
"Lauren had another solid season for us in the back," Fredonia State Head Coach Chris Case said. "She is such an outstanding kid who works so hard day in and day out. (This is) a very well deserved honor again this year for Lauren."
Audette made an immediate impact for the Blue Devils while earning a 2019 Third Team award. She appeared and started 14 games and scored three goals on a total of 10 shots.
"As a freshman it is always nice to receive such an honor," Case said. "Izzy is a very talented defender. She certainly is a smart, technical, and composed player who helped us improve overall as a team this year. I'm looking forward to her continued development and what she can do over the next few years."
