Five international artists will perform concertos with the Western New York Chamber Orchestra on Sunday Feb. 19 at 4 p.m. in King Concert Hall at SUNY Fredonia.
Tickets are available through the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center, by phone at 716-673-3501 or online. Tickets are $20 for the general public. Student tickets are free if picked up in advance or $5 at the door.
Works on the program include Saint-Saens’ Concerto in A minor, Op. 33 with cellist Nahar Eliaz from Israel; Vivaldi’s Concerto in D major, RV 93 with guitarist Julio Reyes from the U.S.; Chopin’s Concerto in E minor, Op. 11 with pianist Ben Batalla from the U.S.; Mendelssohn’s Concerto in E minor, Op. 64 with violinist Timothy Shi of the U.S.; and Mozart’s Concerto No. 20 in D minor, K. 466 with pianist Ke Tang from China.
