The College of Arts and Sciences will be sponsoring a Research Day, featuring professors from the college on Friday, March 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. in Jewett Hall 101. The presenters will include: Dr. Guy Boysen, Dr. Jennifer Hilderbrand, Dr. Michael Milligan, Dr. Kate Douglass, Dr. Erica Snow, and Dr. Daniela Peterka-Benton.
The faculty will be presenting:
- Dr. Guy Boysen, Psychology: “Responding to Student Bias in the Classroom”
- Dr. Jennifer Hilderbrand, History: “Crossing Boundaries: Roland Hayes, African American Tenor”
- Dr. Erica Snow, Physics: “Spectroscopy of Highly Excited Hydrogen Molecules”
- Dr. Daniela Peterka-Benton, Sociology, Anthropology, Criminal Justice, and Social Work: “Arms Trafficking in Transnistria: Security Loop-hole at Europe’s Doorstep”
- Dr. Kate Douglass, Modern Languages and Literature: “Learning Beyond the Classroom: Technological Applications in Foreign Language Teaching”
- Dr. Michael Milligan, Chemistry: “Organic Pollutants in the Great Lakes Region”
