Actor Evan Harrington, ’98, who is currently part of the Broadway cast of “Phantom of the Opera,” will return to campus the week of November 16 for a series of engagements, including a short concert on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in Rockefeller Arts Center’s Bartlett Theater.
In addition, Harrington, who has also been part of ensembles for such musicals as “Avenue Q,” “The Music Man,” “The Full Monty” and “Sweeney Todd,” as well as the NBC hit comedy “30 Rock,” will interact throughout the week with students in a variety of settings. He will hold a workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 7 to 10 p.m. Following the concert on Nov. 18, he will lead a master formatted class from 7:30 to 10 p.m. On Thursday, Nov. 19, he will lead another master class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Lastly, he will hold a question and answer session 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 20, in Room G29 of Rockefeller Arts Center. All the events are free but open to students only. All will be held in Bartlett Theater, with the exception of the Friday engagement.
Harrington also played a human version of the animated Eric Cartman from the hit comedy “South Park” in a series of commercials for Comedy Central, which can be seen on his website, www.evanharrington.com.
