SUNY Fredonia employees are encouraged to bring their children to work on Thursday, April 24, to celebrate “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.” Children 7 years and older are invited to come into work with their parents and partake in the Fredonia tradition. Employees will need supervisor approval to participate.
“Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” gives children of Fredonia employees the opportunity to see the importance of their parent’s workplace responsibilities. Fredonia has been participating in the program for 20 years.
“Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” is a public education program sponsored by the Ms. Foundation for Women, a not-for-profit charity that has supported women in the areas of health, safety, and economic justice for over 20 years.
