The Office of Volunteer and Community Services will hold its 15th Community Service Fair in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room on Wednesday, Sept. 26, for students with an interest in volunteering.
The event is slated from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of agencies, as well as learn about prospective sites. All campus and community members are welcome to attend the free event.
Some of the participating organizations include The American Red Cross, Alzheimer's Association, Boys and Girls Club, Camp Gross, Chautauqua Adult Day Services, Habitat for Humanity, Child Advocacy Center, United Way of Northern Chautauqua County, Chautauqua County and Lake Shore Humane Societies, Circle of Love, Community Blood Bank, Girls Scouts of Western New York, Fredonia Place, Fredonia Fire Department, Greystone Nature Preserve, Hope Chautauqua Coalition and Chautauqua Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Council, Youngerman Center for Communication Disorders, Upward Bound Program, Make-A-Wish Western New York and others.
