Students from SUNY Fredonia's Delta Chi will be hosting their annual Spring Egg Hunt for the children of the Village of Fredonia, on Saturday, April 14, starting at 1 p.m. on the front lawn of the SUNY Fredonia President's Home, located at 194 Central Ave.

An arts and crafts session will begin in the driveway area starting at 1 p.m. The egg hunt will commence promptly at 2 p.m. The winners of the egg hunt will receive gift baskets that were donated from local businesses.

Michelle Twichell, one of the originators of the Fredonia’s “Miracle on Main Street” workshop, is assisting Delta Chi with its planning efforts. “We’ve been volunteering for Michelle for the past 10 years with Miracle on Main Street,” said Paul Shephard, President of Delta Chi. “It made sense to create an event where we can keep our relationship going with Michelle and the Fredonia community.”

Last year, Delta Chi originally planned to host the first egg hunt on President Hefner’s lawn, but had to relocate to the Campus and Community Children’s Center due to unfavorable weather conditions.

Parking with be available in the Fenton Hall parking lot, which is behind President Hefner’s property.
