A team of SUNY Fredonia students and faculty will convene for a panel discussion devoted to an ongoing conversation on diversity Monday, March 26, 5 p.m., at the Horizon Room.

The gathering, which continues the “Dialogues on Diversity” series at SUNY Fredonia, will provide a forum to spark discussion on how the address, given by nationally acclaimed diversity training expert Dr. Maura Cullen at the start of the spring semester, relates to this campus. All panel members attended Cullen’s presentation.

Student panelists include: Makayla Santiago, sophomore, Liberal Arts; Corey Moriarty, senior, Business Administration-Management; Erin Goldberg, senior, History, minor in American Studies; Justin Dickerson, sophomore, Social Studies Adolescence Education; Ibrahima Toure, freshman, Liberal Arts; and Margaret Gonzalez, freshman, Business Administration-Management.

Faculty and staff members include: Joyce Harvard Smith, Volunteer Service coordinator; Dr. Teodora Cox, Mathematical Sciences; Dr. Ingrid Johnston-Robledo, assistant dean, College of Arts and Sciences; Brandon Williamson, Admissions counselor; Dr. Carmen Rivera, chair, coordinator, Latino Studies; and Dr. John Arnold, History.

All members of the SUNY Fredonia community are invited to attend the panel discussion, which is being sponsored by the campus Affirmative Action Committee.
