One of the Studen Association's newest acknowledged groups, Collegians for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT), is collecting used, unwanted laptops to be donated to Valle Verde, a small village in Mexico.

The group will be collecting laptops until the second week of March. All laptop vintages are welcomed, as long as they are accompanied by their chargers.

Laptops can be donated at any time to either the Campus Life Desk or contact Brian O'Connor.  "We will also be raising money to be donated to the village to get additional laptops. The laptops will be used primarily for education purposes," he said.

CFACT is a national organization working to promote environmental sustainability and helping developing nations. Mr. O'Connor said the group has about 15 members at SUNY Fredonia. "Being a environmental group we do park clean ups, and go out and roll up our sleeves and try to tackle environmental issues ourselves," he said.
