There is a new ticket policy for the annual Pink The Rink men's hockey game this Friday.

The Steele Hall ticket windows will open at 5:30 p.m. -- 30 minutes earlier than usual.

Doors to the Ice Arena will remain closed until 6 p.m., one hour before the 7 p.m. faceoff. The Blue Devils -- wearing their traditional pink jerseys and socks -- will entertain the Morrisville State Mustangs in a SUNYAC game.

Cost of tickets will be unchanged from all other home hockey games -- $5 for adults and $2 for children and students. Fredonia State students showing a valid college ID card will be admitted free of charge.

Blue Devil Booster passes will also be honored.

There will be no hand stamps used so fans will be required to show their hockey-only tickets each time they re-enter the Ice Arena.

In addition, hockey fans wishing to enter the Steele Hall Fieldhouse for the basketball doubleheader on the same night will be required to show their hockey-game ticket.

Sale of basketball-only tickets will take place at a table inside the entrance to the Fieldhouse beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m.

The Pink the Rink game, courtesy of WNYF-TV, will be on Campus Cable Channel 6, Dunkirk Cable Channel 19, Fredonia Cable Channel 17, and also streamed online.
