Patrice Douglas received Fredonia’s RA of the Month recognition for April. She is a resident assistant in Eisenhower Hall and a Social Work major with minors in Sociology and Leadership Studies.
Ms. Douglas has been on the Dean’s List since the spring of 2015 and is very involved on campus. She is the events chair for the Black Student Union, a Student Ambassador, and a member of Fredonia's first hip hop team, Envied Xpression, as well as the intern for Crowned Rubies through the Office of Student Affairs. She was the Parent Coordinator for summer orientation and served as the New York State Bachelor of Social Work student representative to the National Association of Social Work board of directors.
It was noted that Douglas has gone above and beyond so that her residents feel that they are involved and cared for. She has recently taken time to make sure that her residents are safe and have someone to talk to, and planned events to create an inclusive, comfortable atmosphere.
